That was Roger Willemsen’s conclusion in Karlsruhe last night, where he presented his new book “Das Hohe Haus”. He had spent a whole year as a spectator in the German Bundestag (Parliament) to see whether the representatives we have elected do, in fact, represent us. His findings made for an evening full of laughs and made us shake our heads in disbelief at the same time. Extremely funny and razor-sharp. He’ll continue touring Germany in June, July and August (Read more / Tour dates). Highly recommended!
Onto something crafty:
This is a layout I made for my friend Perrine (sorry for the blurry photo, if only I had a fancy camera or would know how to use the one I have ^^). Absolute CASE of this wonderful page by Gaelle Fauglas.
Papers are the same, but I switched the direction up and used some different embellishments, e. g. some hexagons cut out from an older paper by My Mind’s Eye. The butterfly chipboard is by Crate (On Trend).
The picture is matted onto a piece of vellum and popped up with dimensionals. I used some Mr. Huey’s Silver and there’s a little die-cut peeking out from behind the photo.
Well, it’s getting late and I need to jump out of bed tomorrow early, so I guess I’ll see you around!
