It’s Sunday over here on the bottom of the globe and I am about to go to Albert Park.
First week of university is done and everything is coming along nicely so far.
But: There are just not enough hours in a day is all I’m sayin’. Hence the lack of posts.
On Tuesday we had the big welcome with a Maori ceremony (Powhiri) which included speeches in English and Maori, waiata (singing in between the speeches) and hongi (nose-pressing as a greeting). We were sitting in the sixth row, so we had the chance to see quite well. If you’d like to see some pictures, there was an official photographer taking those pictures.
Now onto some photos that were taken sometime between today and the last time I posted 😉
If you click on the pictures, you can see them full size and read the descriptions.
Two days ago I made my first card over here and it seems quite a bit more difficult without all the equipment that I normally use. Today I made three cards, so that’s a progress, I guess 🙂
Tonight we (= bunch of international students) are heading to the cinema to see Alice in Wonderland.
Have a great Sunday and don’t forget to leave me a comment 🙂
All the best!!
