And I don’t see and don’t believe

Hey there! Happy belated 1st Advent!

How are things? Over here it’s grey and cloudy and pretty dark already. Which doesn’t keep me from tidying up, making cards and of course going for walks with the dawg🙂

This weekend we had the ultimate girls night in – loads of food, face masks, cotton candy, hand peeling, wine, chick flicks, pyjamas and five girls were involved. Natch we didn’t get to sleep until 4 a.m. so Sunday was spent hanging around. And walking the dog.
Anyhow, I hope your week has started in a good way and don’t forget to open the first door today!

Meet my entry for Cath’s Christmas in the Old Country Challenge:

In the second photo you can see the embossed sparkle better:

Yes, I used one of my precious felt hearts from Vanessa🙂 This one is dark grey, love it, it gives the card such a cozy feel!

The card base is PTI Rustic Cream, embossed with sparkling clear embossing powder from my LSS. The tag is from IKEA and the Fancypants Designs All Fall Gingham Ribbon was attached to it using a regular stapler. The delicious white lace is from my local sewing store with Coffee/Cream bakers twine threaded through it. The letter stickers are from K&Co. The upper right corner is rounded.
Here’s another pic.

Hope you like it!
Gotta go now! Have a great day!
And thank you for all the sweet comments!!!

P.S. The source of the title is my current favourite song. Love me some Rifles.

  3. Very pretty card there Nina – well, we should be having summer weather over here, but instead it is cold, cold, cold – with rain and overcast skies – will summer EVER come????

  4. Love that cool tag with the touch of gingham.
